Ethos Architecture is a firm based on Values. We have a firm commitment to quality, organization, consistency, and the highest ethical standards. Our team has experience in a wide range of architectural project types and styles. We have the experience necessary to take your project from initial design sketches through construction administration, with creativity and due diligence.

We pride ourselves on being on the forefront of technology in our industry. This means utilizing the latest 3D and BIM programs, from Sketchup and Revit to 3D printing and Virtual Reality demonstrations. But it also means staying up to date on building technology, green technology, and LEED standards. From harnessing cloud computing, telecommuting, and a vast array on online technology and open source software, we keep our overhead as low as possible, so we can pass the savings on to you.

Scott Holcomb

Principal, Design Director - RA, NCARB, LEED AP

Scott Holcomb is an architect dedicated to quality, creativity, and efficiency. His love for a variety of design styles, and passion for technology have resulted in beautifully unique projects, which layer form and function together in harmony. Equally comfortable creating a BIM model in Revit, quick modeling in Sketchup, playing in Photoshop, or drawing a napkin sketch; Scott uses his array of talents to find the best tool for any job. He has designed community centers, churches, hotels and skyscrapers, and believes that each project should be tailored to its context. He is also a leader in green design, and continues to focus on cost efficient ways to enhance sustainable solutions on all his projects.

Julie Miller

Job Captain, Interiors - CCIDC

Julie’s love for design led her to a career filled with exciting opportunities in the vast world of Architecture. Her 19 years of experience has allowed her to work on all aspects of a project from programming to design to documentation to implementation. She’s worked on a wide variety of project types including Industrial, Office Spaces, Financial Institutions, Airports, Restaurants, Retail and Gaming. Julie’s attention to detail and ability to bring all project team members together is what drives her to complete successful projects time and time again. Julie has one main goal during the life of a project: Exceed the Owner’s Expectations. Communication is key to achieving success in a project and Julie utilizes all forms of communication, including technology, to ensure the project is clear and concise for the team. Her budget minded approach helps to streamline the process by keeping everyone on the same page throughout the life of the project. Her varied experience with different project types allows her to identify and solve any challenges that may come her way.

Design has always been one of Julie’s passions. Her love of travel, architecture and photography has given her a keen eye for design. Everything from the tallest skyscraper to a wine bottle opener, Julie’s devotion to design is prominent. Exploring the latest trends and technology, Julie stays current in an industry that continues to evolve. She even finds design in food – creating delicious and gorgeous cuisine for her family and friends.
